Q. How does the Tadger work?
As the fuel exits the Tadger it has reached a controlled turbulence point of 2000 - 4000 Reynolds number. This will allow the fuel to burn more efficiently during the combustion process. The result is a cleaner burn creating lower emissions and greater horsepower. See our "Scientific Explanation" for more details.
Q. How does the Tadger clean the engine?
Your engine builds up carbon and varnish deposits due to incomplete combustion (improper burning). Molecules that are non-homogeneous are found in both Gasoline and Diesel Fuel. As these molecules begin to cluster and grow, some molecules become trapped during combustion, air is unable to reach the trapped molecules and they do not burn completely. Instead they are expelled into the atmosphere or retained as carbon/varnish deposits inside your engine.
Q. Does the Tadger work on all engines?
Yes. Tadgers have been installed on all makes and models of gas and diesel engines, both mobile and stationary.
Q. What is the Tadger made of?
It is made up of 360 alloy brass and 6061-T6 aluminium. Both are proven material that will not rust, corrode and are very durable.
Q. The performance claim of the Tadger unit sounds too good to be true?
With over 50 client case studies, and growing, ranging from 1 day to 18 months in duration, the results speak for themselves. It is hard to believe that everyone is not using a technology having such simplicity in design with such effective results.
Q. Where is the Tadger installed?
The Tadger is installed on the input fuel line prior to the fuel injectors and after the (primary / secondary) fuel pump and/or filter, if possible. The Tadger installation is as unique as the personality of your engine. Our installation associates will assist you in identifying the optimal installation point for your engine.
Q. How long does it take to install a Tadger?
Typical installations take from 20 - 40 minutes. Our installation associates generally use pre-made kits, which will reduce the installation time significantly.
Q. Does the Tadger require any maintenance?
No. The Tadger has no moving parts. Due to engine vibration, you may periodically check the tightness of the fittings.
Q. Do I need to adjust my carburetor?
No, you should not have to make any adjustment to see the improvement as long as the engine is well tuned in the first place.
Q. Does the Tadger restrict the fuel flow?
No. There is no restrictions to fuel flow.
Q. Does the Tadger add or remove anything from the fuel?
No. The Tadger only creates a controlled turbulence. There is nothing that is added nor removed.
Q. Does the Tadger use any other type of technology such as magnets, catalysts, hydrogen etc.?
No. The Tadger has it's own patented technology.
Q. Will the use of fuel additives or bio-diesel fuel affect the Tadgers' performance?
Yes. It has been proven that the Tadger will complement any type of additive or bio-diesel. The Tadgers' performance is enhanced as the quality of the fuel is enhanced.
Q. What about a leased vehicle?
This is not a problem for when the lease is up, simply remove the Tadger and install it on your next vehicle.
Q. Will the Tadger work on old mechanical engines as well as newer electronic engines?
Yes, As long as the Tadger is installed in the correct location.
Q. Will the Tadger void any of the engine manufacturers warranties?
No. Since Tadger is a retrofit device similar to an in-line fuel filter the manufacturers warranty is not affected. Your Tadger representative has written documentation with respect to warranties.
Q. Why don't the engine manufacturers use the Tadger for new engines?
Tadger Group International will not approach the O.E.M.'s with this patented technology. We have established ourselves as an aftermarket distribution source. We are here to serve our clients in that capacity. Our goal is to help protect our customers' current asset.
Government regulations are forcing the OEM's the produce cleaner burning engines on a large scale. We will help to recoup some of the losses in efficiency from these new engines.
Q. How soon can I expect results?
Based on our extensive testing we know that emission reductions can be witnessed immediately. Mileage improvements will vary in time depending on the age and condition of the engine. Our laboratory tests demonstrate that mileage improvements are achieved immediately however our road tests have shown that improvements have varied. The clean out period is the time it takes for the existing carbon build-up to be removed from the engine.
Q. How much improvement can I expect?
This depends on the size and type of the engine, mode of driving, whether city or highway, and weather conditions. See the "Independent Test Summary Sheets" for actual results. All fuel tests have been completed with accurate protocols utilizing statistical techniques. In addition, our scientific testing has shown increased performance (horsepower) and extended oil life.
Any fuel savings claimed by users are not necessarily valid unless controlled fuel tests are carried out with a proven reliable protocol.
Q. When will the Tadger not work?
1) When installed in the wrong location
2) When installed backwards - i.e. The actual fuel flow is opposite to the direction of the "Flow" arrow on the "Tadger"
3) When it has not been given enough time for the clean burn effect to take place
Q. How soon will the Tadger unit pay for itself?
This is directly proportional to the amount of driving you do and the price you pay for fuel. Users have reported that the Tadger was paid back between 3 and 15 months.
Q. Will I need to purchase any additional parts?
If you plan to install the Tadger yourself, you will need fittings/hose/clamps. Our installation associates will help you identify the correct set-up for your application. If you use the services of our installation associates, they will provide you with a turnkey installation process.
